The player can take part in different battles, heavy bombers, pilot fighters and attack plane across a massive range of missions. The game takes place in WWII environment and offers various locations around the world. In Campaign mode, the player can lead and fly the allies against the axis. The game has Campaign and Multiplayer modes. It is the direct sequel to IL 2 Sturmovik and focuses on air combat.

Personally, I would leave train simulator 1.0 in the past. I’m short, you can’t go wrong with any of the above. Base game comes with 50 ‘levels’ but there are over 1000 additional levels on steam workshop for free. This isn’t a sim, but it’s a super fun train themed game that I’ve gotten hundreds of hours of gameplay from.Ĭonnect industries with track and send trains from one station to another to complete tasks. You walk around and get in locos and control the levers to make the locos move- find jobs from the office at each station - complete the jobs for money and use the money to buy better engines, remote controls etc. This is a $20 early access game that’s still in development. But that’s just on my server and the way we try to treat it. If you communicate, you’re not an asshole. And we know if you’ll be logging back in to finish it out not. That way when we see a half ran local we know that you had to go for one reason or another. This way if you are working say the Edison local but you stop for any reason you can let other know. On my servers discord we also have notes for all the yards and locals. Then when it’s all done AI it back to Needles. then when it gets to Kingman we’ll hold it there till that player or another player comes along to do the switching. So a crew member will AI it out of Needles and do something else as it can take a few hours to get to Kingman. For example, on my server we run the Kingman local out of Needles on the Seligman sub, since we don’t have another yard on Seligman to base it out of. Locals can take some time, but again, you can get the big stuff like driving to the area you need to work with the AI. With the AI it’s easy to just stop a train when you are done and let an ai crew take over. You can absolutely play for an hour or so.
